the eastern edge of the island, the cliffs offer awe-inspiring views
of crashing surf far below. It's a spectacular place for a picnic.
While on the island, you will also want to visit the Monhegan Museum
up at the lighthouse, which has been devotedly developed by island
residents. Its exhibits chronicle the island's history, flora, and
fauna.
