5/18/20 Important Schedule Update

In accordance with Governor Mill’s Executive Order 49, anyone entering the ticket office or riding on the Laura B. or Elizabeth Ann ferry must wear a cloth face mask. We appreciate your compliance with the Governor’s order and your continued cooperation through the COVID-19 emergency.

Per the Order: To continue to protect public health, the effective dates of Executive Orders 14, 19, 28 and 34 FY19/20 are hereby extended through May 31, 2020 unless sooner amended.

MBL Schedule June 1st until June 14th~ we will be running one trip per day, Monday through Saturday (excludes bad weather). Boat will depart Port Clyde at 10:30 a.m. and will depart Monhegan at 12:30 p.m.

MBL Schedule until June 1st~ we will be continuing the winter schedule which is 3 days per week- Mon, Wed and Fri (excludes postal holidays or bad weather). There will be an additional boat on May 19th. We will plan to have the June schedule posted by May 20th and if we change the schedule after you have already reserved we will contact you by the email you have listed on your reservation.

4/24/20 May Boat Schedule Change~

May 1st through May 15th we will run the winter schedule of Mon, Wed and Friday- weather permitting.

In response to the Coronavirus Outbreak until further notice-

We will keep our regularly scheduled 3 trips per week (weather permitting)- if a trip is cancelled due to weather/ extreme circumstances we will have a trip the following day.
We will clean and disinfect areas on a frequent basis.
We request that all passengers make reservations- we are limiting the availability on all trips until further notice to allow for adequate social distancing.
We ask that employees and any passengers/ others wear gloves while loading and unloading freight.
We ask that employees and passengers follow the guidelines listed on credible sources such as the Maine CDC and the U.S. CDC.

Practice Good Hygiene
Maintain Social Distancing
Avoid discretionary travel, shopping trips and social visits
We ask that employees and passengers respect the wishes of the Monhegan Community.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we revise as necessary to make decisions in the best interest of our employees and passengers to ensure their continued safety and good health.
